A Different Truth

A blind boy sat on the steps of a building with a hat by his feet. He held up a sign which said: “I am blind, please help.” There were only a few coins in the hat.

A man was walking by. He took a few coins from his pocket and dropped them into the hat. He then took the sign, turned it around, and wrote some words. He put the sign back so that everyone who walked by would see the new words.

Just Five More Minutes

Just five more minutesWhile at the park one day, a woman sat down next to a man on a bench near a playground.

“That’s my son over there,” she said, pointing to a little boy in a red sweater who was gliding down the slide.

“He’s a fine looking boy” the man said. “That’s my daughter on the bike in the white dress.”

Then, looking at his watch, he called to his daughter. “What do you say we go, Melissa?”

Melissa pleaded, “Just five more minutes, Dad. Please? Just five more minutes.”

The man nodded and Melissa continued to ride her bike to her heart’s content. Minutes passed and the father stood and called again to his daughter. “Time to go now?”

Again Melissa pleaded, “Five more minutes, Dad. Just five more minutes.”

The man smiled and said, “OK.”

“My, you certainly are a patient father,” the woman responded.

Mom

Mom

God saw you were getting tired

And a cure was not to be……

So He put His arms around you and whispered,

“Come to Me”

With tearful eyes I watched you,

and saw you pass away….

Although I loved you dearly….

I could not make you stay.

A golden heart stopped beating,

Hard working hands at rest.

God broke my heart to prove to me

He only takes the best.

Mom, I Love You

Friend And Acquaintance

There is a difference between being an acquaintance and being a friend. An acquaintance is someone whose name you know, who you see every now and then, who you probably have something in common with and who you feel comfortable around.

It’s a person that you can invite to your home and share things with. But they are people who you don’t share your life with, whose actions sometimes you don’t understand because you don’t know enough about them.

On the other hand, a friend is someone you love. Not that you are “in love” with them, but you care about them and you think about them when they are not there. The people you are reminded of when you see something they might like, and you know this because you know them so well. They are the people whose pictures you have and whose faces are in your head regardless.

What You Are To Me?

stemrose

I am a rose,
you are my thorns,
clutching to me,
protecting me.

I am the sun,
you are my rays,
helping me to shine
and to be all that I can.

I am a lake,
you are my water,
filling me with ideas, dreams,
and hopes for the future.

I am a tree,
you are my leaves,
sharing who and what I am
and becoming an important part of my life.

I am a heart,
you are my beat,
beating rhythmical

For, you see,
each day I love you more,
Today more than yesterday
and less than tomorrow.

My Wish is Only You

The world of dreams
Beckons me again
It’s a dream of a world
With nothing else but pain

Nothing feels right
Something is gone
I feel empty and hollow
My heart turns to stone

It is you that I miss
It’s my soul that is gone
Is this my destiny?
Forever alone?

I’m tired of wanting
I’m tired of needing
And each time I succeed
I am left dead and bleeding

Say you love me
And I’ll love you too
But I’ll never say that I do
beCause you wouldn’t love me too

Recipe for a good Marriage

Take one enchanted lady
Take one handsome gent
Then join them both together
By someone heaven sent.

Take warmth and affection
Flavour it with joy
Add love and devotion
And a bouncing baby boy.

Take a bowl of adoration
Add a dash of sympathy and concern
Add a bundle of understanding
And patience in it’s turn.

Take a pinch of determination
Give and take a little too
Add a handful of tolerance
And watch your dreams come true.

Take a bowl full of hardship
Let it bubble with affection
Add a sprig of cupids arrow
And watch with adoration.

Take a home not a house
And a family of three
Now what else can this recipe need
Oppps! How could I forget ME!

Some words

Some words :

  1. It hurts to love someone and not be loved in return, But what is more painful is to love someone and never find the courage to let that person know how you feel.
  2. A sad thing in life is when you meet someone who means a lot to you, Only to find out in the end that it was never meant to be and you just have to let go.
  3. The best kind of friend is the kind you can sit on a porch swing with, Never say a word, and then walk away feeling like it was the best conversation you’ve ever had.
  4. It’s true that we don’t know what we’ve got until we lose it, but it’s also true that we don’t know what we’ve been missing until it arrives.
  5. It takes only a minute to get a crush on someone, an hour to like someone, and a day to love someone-but it takes a lifetime to forget someone.
  6. Don’t go for looks; they can deceive. Don’t go for wealth; even that fades away. Go for someone who makes you smile because it takes only a smile to make a dark day seem bright.
  7. Dream what you want to dream; go where you want to go; be what you want to be, because you have only one life and one chance to do all the things you want to do.
  8. Always put yourself in the other’s shoes. If you feel that it hurts you, It probably hurts the person too.
  9. A careless word may kindle strife; a cruel word may wreck a life; a timely word may level stress; a loving word may heal and bless.
  10. The happiest of people don’t necessarily have the best of everything they just make the most of everything that comes along their way.
  11. Love begins with a smile, grows with a kiss, ends with a tear. When you were born, you were crying and everyone around you was smiling. Live your life so that when you die, you’re the one smiling and everyone around you is crying.

Think Differently

I AM BLIND. PLEASE HELP.

Soon the hat began to fill up. A lot more people were giving money to the blind boy.

That afternoon the man who had changed the sign came to see how things were. The boy recognized his footsteps and asked: “Were you the one who changed my sign this morning? What did you write?”

Learn To Love

  • Posted on March 14, 2007 at 4:05 pm

Learn to love the people who are with you at present. Forget the people in the past and thank them for hurting you, which led you to love the people you have right now.

When you love someone, you’ll do crazy things you can’t explain, you’ll deny the truth and believe in lies. When you love someone, you sacrifice, give everything you’ve got and don’t think twice. You risk it all no matter what.

Everything in life is temporary because everything changes. That is why it takes courage to love, knowing it might end anytime…having faith will make it last.

Friends are not the one who laugh when you laugh and cry when you cry. They are the ones who make you laugh and stop you from crying.
