Letter to God

  • Posted on March 25, 2007 at 6:31 pm

Little Bobby came into the kitchen where his mother was making dinner.

His birthday was coming up and he thought this was a good time to tell his mother what he wanted.

Mom, I want a bike for my birthday.“, Little Bobby said to his mother.

Little Bobby was a bit of a troublemaker. He had gotten into trouble at school and at home.

Bobby’s mother asked him if he thought he deserved to get a bike for his birthday.

Little Bobby, of course, thought he did.

Bobby’s mother wanted Bobby to reflect on his behavior over the last year.

I believe-
that we don’t have to change friends when we understand that friends change.

I believe-
that no matter how good friends are, we’re going to hurt each other every once in a while and we must forgive each other for that.

Shake It Off

  • Posted on March 17, 2007 at 12:18 am

One day a farmer’s donkey fell down into a well. The animal cried piteously for hours as the farmer tried to figure out what to do. Finally he decided the animal was old and the well needed to be covered up anyway, it just wasn’t worth it to retrieve the donkey.

He invited all his neighbors to come over and help him. They all grabbed a shovel and began to shovel dirt into the well.

At first, the donkey realized what was happening and cried horribly. Then, to everyone’s amazement, he quieted down. A few shovel loads later, the farmer finally looked down the well and was astonished at what he saw.

The Sacred Path

  • Posted on March 17, 2007 at 12:16 am

Do not undermine your worth by comparing yourself with others. It is because we are different that each of us is special.

Do not set your goals and visions by what other people deem important. Only you know what is best for you.

Do not take for granted the things closest to your heart. Cling to them as you would your life, for without them, life is meaningless.

Learn To Love

Learn to love the people who are with you at present. Forget the people in the past and thank them for hurting you, which led you to love the people you have right now.

When you love someone, you’ll do crazy things you can’t explain, you’ll deny the truth and believe in lies. When you love someone, you sacrifice, give everything you’ve got and don’t think twice. You risk it all no matter what.

Everything in life is temporary because everything changes. That is why it takes courage to love, knowing it might end anytime…having faith will make it last.

Friends are not the one who laugh when you laugh and cry when you cry. They are the ones who make you laugh and stop you from crying.
