Nothings worthwhile or well done
unless the heart is there,
The results prove that there was concern,
love and loving care.
There must be sincerity
and willingness to give,
A noble effort to help others
righteously to live.
There is no real sacrifice
if we reason any task,
And grudgingly perform favors
for those who ask.
The best of everything
and even prayers to god above
Do not mean anything
without care and proper love
An ardent desire to help others
in time of great need
with no intention of receiving a reward
for any deed.
Sacrifice without inner motive
and love becomes pain,
Whereas suffering endured art
of love is for as gain.
